With a 2-0 lead out of the three matches Team India is now looking towards the first series victory in New Zealand soil. Today’s match in Hamilton will be a Do or Die game for Kiwis, as a loss or a no result will cost them the series, and thus Team India will won the first ever ODI series in New Zealand. It is Holi out here in India and Team India is planning to celebrate the festival of colors in style in Hamilton.
The good news for Kiwis is that Vettori is back to lead the squad on a pitch which is considered as the favorite one for them. Another good news for them is that Sachin Tendulkar is not playing in the match due to the stomach injury which he got in the last match.
The good news for Indian cricket fan is that the injury to Sachin Tendulkar was not too big, and he might be back in the fifth ODI. On the other hand Ishant Sharma is likely to play today’s match.
The bowling attack of the Kiwis so far in the series is very poor. Only Vettori was looking to create a bit of problem for the Indian squad, rest of the bowlers are missing the line and length. The batting department has shown some courage and they will surely look to win the 4th ODI to save a bit of pride for themselves.
If India can be able to play brilliantly the ten overs bowled by Vettori without losing wickets then they can be able to win the series.
