So batting first Team India any how managed to make a challenging target of 163 runs to the Kiwis in the first Twenty20 match in Christchurch. Thanks to the superb batting of Raina Team India managed to make 162 runs in 20 overs.
Meanwhile they lost 8 wickets, initial blows of Sehwag and Gambhir build up the pressure on the Indian team. Then again a few wickets of Rohit Sharma, Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni brought them on the back foot.
