After defeating present number one team of the ODI rankings South Africa has reached to the top of the ICC rankings for the One Day Internationals. They defeated the Aussies in the last ODI and thus won the series of 5 match by a margin of 4-1.
It was a bad series for Aussies, they lost the test series too and the ODI series as well, on the other hand they also lost the world number one spot. While, Aussies has a marginal chance to gain back the world’s number spot by defeating New Zealand in the upcoming series.
