On one hand Sri Lanka is fighting against terrorism and on the other hand they will have to fight with the Dhoni Brigade too. The first One Day International between India and Sri Lanka is scheduled at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, from 10 AM of Local Sri Lankan time on Wednessday 28th of January 2008.
Sri Lankan team is continuosly toured Bangladesh and then Pakistan, so they must be a bit tired. On the other hand Indian team were taking rest from some time, so they can be a bit fresh than their competitors. Team India last beat England by 5-0 in a series in India, while they also beat Sri Lanka by 3-2 in Lanka.
On the other hand Sri Lanka won six out of the last seven matches they played. Their batting seems a bit in problem, while Indian team is looking in full strength with both Sachin and Sehwag fully fit. So Team India has an upper hand in the series.
