After a patchy period with the bat, the Indian tiger, Yuvraj Singh, is back with a bang in the practice match against
Resuming the last days score, the two players started off in a very slow manner. Yuvraj only scored 5 out of his first 19 balls in the day. Jaffar also had a tentative start of the day when both Lee and Clark squared him up in few occasions. But when the settled in the crease, it all became too easy for the Indian pair to manage those bowlers. Yuvi elegantly drove through covers and pulled over mid-wicket. His trade mark loft over covers wasn’t missing today. In one over of Krejza, the duo scored 21 runs. Yuvi slammed 7 sixes in his total score of 113 which was in a real fast rate to the standards of test match. Jaffar fell 7 short of another century. This practice match revealed some truth about the tourists’ bowling department. It looked really helpless before the likes of Yuvraj, Rohit, Kohli and Jaffar when they were set in the crease. A torrid time is lying ahead of them when they face the likes of Sachin and Rahul.
These scores are really making it tough for the veterans to make their way in the national team. After this innings Yuvraj can be a strong contender for the selection of team for the third test. So as will be Rohit and Chawla who took a five wicket haul in the match. Ojha will be in the hunt also. So a tough time is lying ahead of the time for the selectors.
