It was Harbhajan’s double score that slowed down Sri Lanka’s pace.
To add to that, Anil Kumble generated enough strain on Sri Lankan cricketers that they were forced to come back to the middle session, once Chaminda Vaas and Kumar Sangakkara were seen aggressive with the game.
Though Kumar Sangakkara was slow in the middle session, he stayed as much as he could, with the goal to prevent Sri Lankans from losing out.As far as reviews were concerned, India could have been affected by the contradictory umpiring.
But, after lunch, India was firm enough to play back well. In the first session, Sri Lanka scored a century and to know in detail, in the first 11 overs of the second, Sri Lankans scored only 23.
Vaas was squeezed between Harbhajan’s and Kumble’s bowling. Then, Harbhajan attacked Jayawardene with his awesome bowling strategies.
The 3rd test match of the Idea Cup is scheduled in between Sri Lanka and India today at Saravenamuttu Stadium, Colombo on 08/08/08.

in 3rd ODI indian batsman against Mendis played very well.Inshaallah,they will play much better in 4th N 5th ODI.
