The Government of Switzerland and the National Basketball Association of America has proposed to use Sachin for social work. They want to prepare a ad with famous tennis player Rojer Federer.

Many awards has been bestowed on Sachin Tendulkar who is supposed to be the best among all the cricketers and there is a lot of hue and cry about conferring a Bharat Ratna on him which is certainly uncalled for at this juncture. Many Indian cricketers has by their sheer display of aggressive cricket has changed the game altogether and are leading a distressed life. How can the Indian Government overlook the contribution of other sportsmen. I think awards are meant just to appease somebody and Sachin will truly be great if he can do some social service like adopting few distressed child and look after them till they get settled in life just like Steve Waugh is doing.
