The man who really troubled India in the first test match against Australia was the man of the match Matthew Hayden. He has troubled India many times. Born on 29th October 1971 in Queensland, Matthew Hayden is going through great form in this year.

Earlier in 2007, playing in the World Cup he scored 659 runs on an average of 73.22. A few days back in the Chappel-Hadlee series against New Zeeland he scored 181 runs in 166 balls.

Hayden played his first test match in South Africa on 4th March 1994, in that match he scored only 5 and 15 runs and then he has to struggle for making a place in the team, and after his return he has become the pillar of the World Champion Team. He returned after a long time in India in 2000-01. He scored 549 runs in 3 test match series and from then he is the toughest wall for all the team against Australia.

In recently concluded test match against India he scored 124 and 47 and elected as the Man of The Match. Also, he has now scored 8000 runs in 92 tests. He is the 5th Australian player to achieve this feat.

    No doubt about it that Sehwag should open, but he will ot be according to current reports. Makes one wonder who selected him in the first place and what purpose it serves?
